Collective Health named one of only 58 companies to earn the prestigious “Outstanding” designation, recognized for driving innovation, improving accessibility, and advancing a more effective and sustainable healthcare system
San Francisco, Calif., September 24, 2025 – Collective Health, a leading employee health benefits platform with integrated member advocacy, clinical navigation, and an extensive partner ecosystem, today announced it has been named to the TIME’s World’s Top HealthTech Companies of 2025. Out of 400 companies recognized globally, Collective Health was selected as one of just 58 to earn an “Outstanding” designation, highlighting its position among the most innovative and impactful health technology organizations in the world.
The TIME World’s Top HealthTech Companies list, developed in partnership with Statista, aims to highlight health tech companies that drive innovation, enhance accessibility, and contribute to a more effective and sustainable healthcare system. This year marks the inaugural ranking, spotlighting organizations shaping the future of care worldwide. Collective Health was recognized in the Health Information & Management category.
Methodology
The ranking is based on a comprehensive international analysis of thousands of health technology companies. Each company was assessed across three key evaluation pillars:
- Financial Performance (50%) — measured through metrics such as revenue per employee and funding amount to assess stability, growth potential, and operational efficiency.
- Reputation Analysis (30%) — evaluated public perception using social listening techniques across news coverage, blogs, forums, and social media.
- Online Engagement (20%) — measured reach and engagement levels, with website traffic as a key indicator.
Based on these criteria, 400 companies earned a place on the list, with only 58 receiving the exclusive “Outstanding” designation, reflecting the highest levels of innovation, credibility, and global impact.
“The U.S. health benefits and health insurance industry has been far too slow to innovate in bringing customer-centric and affordable options to American employers and their workers,” said Ali Diab, CEO and co-founder of Collective Health. “As a result, the U.S. health benefits and health insurance industry has too often left working Americans and their families with a labyrinth of complexity and high costs to navigate, along with unexpected denials and indecipherable letters. Over the last decade, we at Collective Health have been focused on making health benefits and health insurance easy to understand and navigate for working Americans, their families, and the companies that they work for. That’s why hundreds of the country’s top employers have chosen Collective Health to administer their employees’ health benefit plans and health insurance offerings. Being named a World’s Top HealthTech company by TIME is a testament to that focus and to the incredible work that our teams do every day to support the nearly 750,000 Americans on our employee health benefit plans. Being further designated as one the top 15% of health tech companies worldwide to receive an ‘Outstanding’ designation further underscores the impact we’re making. I could not be more proud of our team for this recognition of our hard work and focus. This honor reflects the dedication of everyone at Collective Health.”
