Though Collective Health works with self-funded employers to maximize their investment and health benefits strategy, we also provide support and direction for companies making the transition from fully-insured to self-funded. Due to the nature of how fully-insured plans operate, Collective Health does not have access to the claims data for members on Kaiser plans. As a result, we cannot offer much of the functionality that we provide for our self-insured plans, such as member claims assistance, analytics and reporting, or My Collective™ integration.

However, for members of fully-insured medical plans, we can offer the use of the Collective Health Platform™ to access details for other self-insured plans customers might have in place with us (i.e. dental or vision), as well as integrated third party health programs that they want fully-insured members to access. With that in mind, we can support the following level of integration with Kaiser: inbound and outbound eligibility, self-billing with the Financial Management and Payments (FMP) module, transfer to Kaiser for detailed medical questions, and link to Kaiser from My Collective™.
